I am looking for someone to take over a 6 MONTH LEASE of my TOP FLOOR, SPACIOUS 1BR1BA + LOFT apartment at Station Nine Apartments near Durham's 9th Street. 18' soaring high ceiling opens up the living room with plenty natural light. The Loft is about the same size as the bedroom (practically 2 BRs), can be used as a bedroom or an office, great for someone working from home, a couple, or maybe roommates. I am offering a $100/mo discount for the duration of the lease. You won't be able to rent a loft floor plan at this price around 9th Street - the current starting rent is $1635. (Full disclosure, my unit is cheaper because it's carpeted instead of vinyl planks). It is on the 4th floor, so no one is above you. I am a very clean person and have taken good care of the apartment. No kids, no pets, no smoking home. Lease takeover starting mid-January 2019 (move-in date negotiable) through the lease end on 7/15/2019.
The apartment is conveniently located near 9th Street; just across the street there's a 24/7 Harris Teeter and numerous restaurants (Local 22, Vin Rouge, Guasaca, Burger Bach, Panera to name a few) are all close walking distance. Whole Foods Market is also nearby. Downtown is cool. But 9th street wins for daily convenience, you can't beat having a grocery store in just a few minutes walking . You can hop on the Bull City Connector bus (free!) to get to Downtown. It is especially convenient for Duke students and Duke Medical Center employees; easy walk to East Campus, Duke Transit bus stop/Medical Center employees' parking lot is across the street, H2 bus frequently runs to West Campus and Medical Center (also free!). I work in RTP, the commute is easy 15 minutes via Hwy 147.
You will start paying the rent 2/1/19. If you move in January, I won't ask for pro-rated rent, January rent is on me (~$675 saving!)
One-time Deposit $300 (will be refunded at the end of the lease if no damages to the unit)
Monthly rent: $1395*
Valet trash service/pest control/water/sewer etc.: ~ $65/mo (fluctuates depending on water usage)
Rent does not include utilities and cable/internet.
W/D in unit
The applicant(s) must be at least 21 yrs old. You will need to apply for a credit check with $175 application fee, which I will reimburse upon the lease transfer completion.

Upon successful lease transfer, I will:
- Reimburse your application fee ($175)
- Pay the lease transfer fee to the leasing office ($500)
- Reimburse $100 discount x number of months you takeover from me
- Pass on my Spectrum WiFi modem so that you don't have to pay monthly modem fee
