FirmBuild Decks is looking for a motivated, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our team building custom decks, porches, pergolas, railings, and outdoor living spaces throughout the Triangle area.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade, work outdoors, stay active, and grow into a well-paid carpenter.
Pay
$18–$30 per hour to start, depending on experience and productivity.
* 1099 contractor position
* Performance-based raises
* Opportunity to move from hourly pay to project-based compensation

Schedule
Monday–Friday
Typically 8:00 AM – 5:00/6:00 PM
Occasional overtime available.
Responsibilities
* Deck construction and repairs
* Framing and carpentry work
* Installing decking, railings, stairs, and trim
* Demolition and site preparation
* Material handling and jobsite organization
* Using hand tools and power tools safely
* Maintaining a clean and professional jobsite
Requirements
✓ Reliable transportation
✓ Ability to show up on time every day
✓ Positive attitude and strong work ethic
✓ Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
✓ Ability to lift and carry 80+ lbs
✓ Must pass a background check
✓ Must provide two references
✓ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
✓ Must own basic tools:
* Tool belt
* Hammer
* Tape measure
* Speed square
* Utility knife
* Pencil
* Work boots
