About the Role
At OCI Restoration we're looking for a hands-on technician who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. As a Restoration Technician, you will be tackling a variety of repair, restoration, and property damage projects. Water mitigation, fire, and mold experience is required, along with a strong handyman background and the ability to guide others on-site.
Crew & Resource Management: work on mitigation crews, ensure the proper setup and operation of equipment like dehumidifiers and air movers.
Quality Control & Compliance: Inspect job sites to ensure high standards of quality and adherence to industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
Client & Stakeholder Relations: Communicate directly with property owners and insurance adjusters, providing updates, setting expectations, and maintaining strong relationships.
Documentation: Maintain complete job files, document progress, moisture readings, and other required paperwork accurately.
Typical Duties
Respond to emergencies, potentially requiring 24/7 on-call availability.
Manage and monitor job costs to meet financial projections.
Stay updated on industry best practices, equipment, and technology.
Work seamlessly with fellow mitigation technicians and other staff.
Coordinate with other departments and third-party professionals as needed.
Analyze and report on competitive activity and project performance.
Operate and maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and company vehicles
Key Skills & Qualifications;
Experience in water, fire, mold, or other damage mitigation.
IICRC certifications WRT required, AMRT, FSRT, ASD preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Mica/Encircle and general computer skills.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively with teams and provide exceptional customer service.
Ability to work nights / weekends and overtime as needed.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
