Local family-owned and operated landscaping company seeking landscape crew lead for immediate hire. Candidate must be honest, hard working, and punctual, with a positive, go-getter attitude. Experience leading a crew in Mowing, bush/hedge trimming, mulch and pine straw installation, tree, shrub, and flower installation, soft and hard scaping services is required. Experience in leading a lawn maintenance crew (mowing, trimming, edging, blowing) is a plus.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position including but not limited to, bending, kneeling, standing, balancing, climbing, stooping, crawling, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting 70 + lbs
Must conduct self in a polite, professional manner at all times
Must have a valid NC Driver's License
Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions from supervisor

Full Time Position; Monday-Friday
*Some occasional weekend work due to bad weather during weekdays

Landscaping Crew Lead Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision: Manage and direct crew members on-site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and up to company standards.
Project Execution: Interpret work orders and ensure the job is executed accurately from start to finish.
Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets expectations and company quality standards.
Equipment Oversight: Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of landscaping tools and machinery.
Time Management: Maintain productivity by managing crew schedules, job timelines, and daily task completion.
Client Interaction: Act as a point of contact for customers on-site, providing professional and courteous communication when questions or concerns arise.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues that may arise on-site, such as material issues, weather delays, or crew conflicts.
Daily Reporting: Report to and update management on any pertinent information at the end of each workday.
